[November 2008]

What makes our students true leaders? I believe it is ethical values, decisiveness, and appreciation of differences.

I explained my thoughts behind this school project last month. I hope our students will not only be successful individuals but also contribute to the causes and development of our society as a whole. That is why I'd like our school to educate grades 7-12 while they're young and flexible, with a full boarding system. Living away from their parents, students will enhance their communication skill among themselves as well as capacity to make responsible decisions such as choosing universities and occupations. I trust that it is critical for one's success to be aware of his/her strengths and weaknesses, and to conciously take initiative in choosing their own path. It has to be an international school. In addition to rigorous history and culture education, students should learn to appreciate individual differences -together with their own identity- in their daily life. Our world is changing at an amazing speed, and becoming more and more global and complex every day.

The location of our school is being decided right now (photos: the international boarding school in Canada I graduated from.)
